Symposium

Proposals are now being sought for the International Symposium on Social Digital Language Teaching and Learning, which will be held on April 27 and 28 and hosted by Dicle University in Diyarbakır, Türkiye (Turkey). The conference aims to aims to bring together a wide variety of scholars working within distinct disciplines and on many different aspects of teaching second/foreign languages in relation to digital social contexts, platforms, and tools. The symposium will be held within the framework of the Social Digital Learning project, entitled ''Engaging Learners in Digital Participatory Culture Through Social Media-Integrated EFL Classroom Practices".

For the symposium, we welcome papers in English, Turkish, and other languages dealing with any aspect of teaching and learning language(s). We hope to bring together researchers, educators, and practicioners, who are interested in examining the potential and use of digital social learning technologies for second/foreign language learning and teaching purposes. This two-day event will feature presentations by English as a foreign language teachers, and researchers, including invited talks by experts in the field.

We look forward to welcoming you all to an enriching experience with discussions and important networking opportunities for inspiring theoretical and practical ideas for second/foreign language learning and teaching contexts.
